Don't use scotch brite to remove the algae from glass. Use a old debit/credit card or SIM card cover or new blade to remove green spot algae to instant remove.

Add phosphate and increase CO2 to prevent this algae. Change water frequently.

:1, excess light can also be one of the reason. can we have some information about your light system, also let us know if the tank gets direct sunlight??

Don't panic. This is perfectly natural. May look a bit dirty, but its presence means that your water carries enough nutrients. You havent indicated where you are located.

Here is one suggestion. If you have a car accessories dealer near where you stay, go and visit this dealer. Ask him for white cleaning cloth which is used to apply wax or wax polish. These are mildly abrasive and come in a bunch of 10s. You can use one cloth for 3-4 cleanings. Use these to clean the inside of the glass, the algae will go away.

HI,

Might you have kept your tank in such a way where sun light may be directly reaching in to the tank this also may be one of the

reason for this algae but if you want to get rid water change is the best solution.
