Rocks

Got this rocks from Uttarkhand.Kumaon
Vey nice texture...
On the rocks are green mosses live covered...Can it be use in the tanks with the mosses on,will it die off or grow.
Please give your suggestion...

Mosses will be die under water.

They are terrestrial mosses and grows out of water. From where have you got these rocks?

It is from Uttarkhand.I told my office collegue to get some rocks if possible as he was there for official tour...
I gave him a lot of reference photos, and how to evaluate the shape, texture etc...he did a pretty good job...
It is in front of my 17 inch TFT in office.You can get its rough size.

Will I clean those mosses out before puting them in the tank, or they will die off automatically!!!

Remove those mosses. You can also give those mosses to any paludarium/vivarium/terrarium keeper.

They need only moisture to grow.
