Even at my home my parents & wife insist on having Arowana .As per them it brings prosperity & wealth at home. I could not manage because of space constraints .This specimen is gorgeous & i feel it will accept any pallets readily. Happy Arowana keeping .

Thanks for understanding me. Space is a big problem in Indian cities.

Rajiv Ji, the idea of selling the fish once it outgrows the tank doesn't sounds good in the first place. You might not get any taker at all.

I will give away as it grow around 10 inch. If selling is not possible, there will be many free takers. ;) ;)

I had the same arowana 8 years back. Bought its very small - probably the same size as yours now - for INR 450. Cared for it for 2 years & then sold it to a guy for INR 5,000.
I didn't measure the fish at that time but its was pretty long and a beauty. The superstition associated with these fishes make them sellable at any size.
