Chcolate molly- does anyone have?

Unread post by KarthikC »

Hi Guys,

Such an empty section of the forum. Anyway, I remember having chocolate brown mollies in my tank during my childhood fishkeeping days. Does anyone still have them? I haven't heard or seen them in any lfs of late. I really miss that fish.

Looking for replies.

Cheers,

Karthik

I have your feelings too. Even I havent seen them for long.
Last I knew was someone in Mumbai stocked them. Then again if i remember "snowdewaqua" had a few specimens with them.

But yes, these have a league of their own.

I will try and check it out. It was really a cool fish to have. Don't recollect how I ever lost it.

Cheers,

Karthik

Never seen Chocklate mollies. Saw their picture on internet, they are cute and beautiful.

I have seen mollies with brownish shade, didn't knew they were called chocolate mollies. I thought they were mutant form of the black velvet molly.

I had it during school days. It had intense brown shade. Many collectors say it's very rare in the hobby. Hope to get it somehow. :)

Cheers,

Karthik

There were few guys who had it, but they were greedy for money and they didn't get to sell it in India for their desired rate so they exported it.

Same thing happens with a lot many other things.
