there are some devices available in the market to turn on/off the electrical equipments but as far as i know sms alert like devices are not easily available in the market. you will have to design your own circuit for this purpose that can work with digital thermometer and ph meter, etc. its really a tough job . if you succeed make one for me too

we can make such controller using Arduino controller or its clone. currently i'm working on a similar system. hardware part is almost done but struct with the software codes( also known as sketch).
though initially i have no plans to use it remotely but this can be easily done using Arduino Ethernet shields.
nope, not any, i have asked few of my friends and they said they will have a look at the matter and what all we need and then they ll let me know. i have given them reference of Neptune systems .... hope for positive reply

I got what U mean it can be dun but the end it will b very expensive .
U can control your complete aquarium threw internet . but its not as simple as it sounds .
need to design a product . it cant be done for one person use . cos need to develop a software and hardware as well .
(your aquarium need a robot)
