as suggested by few friends and international forums have came to this conclusion....

OPTION 1)
could use a 7" x 7" square heatsink to mount the 25 leds. See the diagram according to what you have provided me.

A 120mm fan on top for cooling the heatsink.

here is the diagram showing the LED placement that i have thought off...

and here comes
OPTION 2)

this is by another friend who has helped me a lot....

his suggestions are
1) to avoid the blues in the DIY and add more of violets as such i am havinf kessils so blue will be taken care of
2) no need of warm white as this will increase the whiteness
3) he suggested to keep minimum distance of 2 inches between each LED

soo here is the diagram of what he suggested

my questions
1) is the option 1 right ?? i will substitute blues with violets ??
2) what is the minimum distance between each LEDs ??
3) which one to opt for ?
4) should i completely eliminate blue and warm white ??
5) is the option 1 LED placing good enough and i shall order the LEDs ??

thanks helpp will be much appreciated :)

this is a watch thread :)

I am not a Pro in DIY but what ever lil DIY i have done in LED, 2 inch distance is min required.

I think you need warm white, thats what i had gathered when i read this blog, this guy has prepared graphs of the spectrum generated using White and Warm white with Red and Blue

That guy in that blog is talking about LEDs for planted tanks. ;)
And just by chance I'm that guy.

Jack: I would advice you to post this thread in nano-reef.com
The DIY LED section there is the best I've seen. There are many experts who have invented their own LED solutions. You will get the best advice there.
I'm not asking to shut this thread down. As you'll progress there, keep us all posted here :)
