None
unless its an electronic controlled valve
Or, a dual stage regulator(if you can call regulator a valve)

hi,
I have some high quality co2 high pressure check valves by Aquael,Poland.
a lil expensive as compared to others in the market but worth it.
I am using for last 3 years, till today they work just fine.

Hi Romi,

No, a check valve can't do that. What a check valve can do in a CO2 line is basically prevent water seeping back into your regulator etc...nothing more.

@romi,

You get industrial Gas Checkvalves which can work on high pressure, We use these in a bottling plant for cold drinks. Typical colour coding for these is blue in colour and would have a 1/4" female threading on both sides. They cost about Rs 250 or 300 typically. I am not sure how you guys use them though in aquariums, but if you can find a connector that fits the female threading and the tube you use, should work with no issues. You dont need a double stage regulator for it, we dont use them even on 45Kg cylinders that we use for bottling. We use standard Sterco or Esab single stange regulators. In the fountain machines we use chinese ones named yamato and the same check valve.
