Osmotic pressure is defnitely an issue.
I am surprized at your concern for the eggs in addition to the fish. What species are they?

I think salt is no no.....may be anti fungus solution (which one does to raise artificial eggs) would do. In any case, if you remove the eggs soon and put them in similar water parameter but not the same water, the chances that the eggs are infected is largely reduced!

in this case its O. woworae, but it doesn't really matter, eggs/frys are as valuable as adult fish for me

Oryzias are like killis (as u might know, they were once included with them) and will definitely spawn again if they have already. .. I understand even killi mops work with them...
