u can use cocopeat instead of peat moss. just soak the cocopeat adn remove the bits that float always. peat moss is expensive, cocopeat is cheap. one brick will last several years if u only use it for tanks.

Soilrite and Cocopeat are available at Bhogal (there is market of fertilizer and other gardening material), Kaka Nagar CST Market, Barafkhana (near Delhi University North Campus)

Latarite is not available in any nursery of Delhi/NCR. So it is best use soil of your locality or sand.
