u can use cocopeat instead of peat moss. just soak the cocopeat adn remove the bits that float always. peat moss is expensive, cocopeat is cheap. one brick will last several years if u only use it for tanks.

i will try to get cocopeat from the market and make.my substrate with it.

Latarite is not available in any nursery of Delhi/NCR. So it is best use soil of your locality or sand.

There is a market in Bhogal, where 100s of shops selling agricultural items and plants etc. Here is a shop 'Greenz'. Thid shop sell fertilizers and cocopeat, soilrite etc.
