question regarding assassin snails

Sorry to butt in, but are assassins also effective against MTS? I also introduced a few MTS which I collected at one of our Aquapetz meets and now I have a veritable population explosion. Dont know what to do. :cnf

They also kill MTS effectively in non-presence of other snails.

Most snail population will dwindle to zero once assassins are introduced. With the presence of live food available, they will grow and rapidly multiply. However if they fed only processed foods and algae wafers, their spawning rate will reduce.
