Aquatic Plants of India (MINI MOSSES AND FERNS)
Always loved to explore Indian plants. Shocking that many plants that we actually already have are natively found.
Will be uploading pics of my native collection and native plants that I've come across.
Let's start with this,
its a fern my friend found in agumbe (western ghats) took me few weeks to convince her to send it to me. But here it is. no idea about the name.
Plenty more yet to be posted

I would request you to dont disclose the location of these plants on open forum. Only discuss in open forums where you find suitable. No offence meant.
This will be very exciting thread, nice work Nav

Here's a fern that is closely related to java fern. There have been rumors that java ferns have been found in India. Many said its purely terrestrial but from the time I got it its got two new leaves.
Its probably not a java fern, because new leaves have a flower bracket like format ( } ) but its a microsorum sp.

Re: Indian aquatic plants!
I know several locations in Himalaya where we may get types of ferns and mosses. I will try to find some old pictures of ferns and mosses.

I won't be amazed if some new aquatic plants are discovered from western ghats, the diversity of plants found here is amazing, it's. Truely a heaven.
