My new bichir fish
I have bought one bichir fish from local pet store but fish is not eating and hidden all the time.

Bichirs like most large predatory fish need live food, and being bottom dwellers prefer food near the bottom of the tank.
Being nocturnal they are likely to prefer dim lighting, seeing that your tank has no live plants, reducing light should not be much of a problem.
It will keep hiding if light is too intense. Arrange live food.
On a side note, don't buy fish or any other pets on impulse. I personally setup tanks according to species requirement and buy the fish later.

With time they will accept packaged food. Just dim light.
