First DIY tank setup

Unread post by vasishta.sushant »

Not so long before I realized that my curved glass 29G tank is too limiting for my liking. Couldn't really upgrade to a larger tank since my requirement was only more width.

Cutting the long story short, I planned to gift my current tank to my mother and created one for myself using 8mm glass. The chosen tank dimensions were 30 x 18 x 18. I wasn't sure about how it'd turn out but it came out real good - at least from the standards of a first timer.

Check it out.

Tank looks perfect. Do you have any plans to add foreground plants in the open area?

Thanks guys. Plan to cover the open area with some sort of carpeting plant. Right now waiting for the current plants to catch up some growth.

Looks very neat and clean. Get some more plants and learn plant growth, water chemistry etc. your experiences will be your best teacher. Good luck and keep updating here.

Cheers,

Karthik
