but hobbyists still away
when it become low priced more ppl will be attracted to discuss hobby

Neil, I think one of the reasons why hobbyists stay away is because the sellers do not provide adequate information on this species during the purchase. Similar to selling Alligator Gars, Oscars, Arowanas etc. I stopped keeping discus long back. I felt that since I do not have a large enough tank to keep seven or eight of them, and watch them grow, there is absolutely no point in torturing these magnificent creatures in 2 feet tanks.
