I'm planning on getting a Dwarf Puffer, would it advisable to keep a single fish in a 5 gallon tank or should I get more in a bigger setup?
Seriously Fish mentions that it can be kept in a tank like 2.5 gallons.
Also since its endemic to Kerela, India I think the plants going well would be hygrophila sp?

You can keep 4-5 fish in this tank. I kept them but they never forn a grouo. One more thing to consider, they need regular supply of snails. Hardly they accept pellets.

They take snails readily. Shrimps, love blood worms are option or may not be accepted. Also, they need snails (not mts) for the welfare of their teeth and jaws (info. shared by a senior hobbyist)

Snails breed very fast in favorable conditions. Provide them enough food and calcium reach water.stephndsz wrote:KarthikC wrote:They take snails readily.
