DIY Acrylic aquarium hood.
Recently I designed an black acrylic hood for my aquarium. Just want to share my DIY Project with everyone. So here is the procedure of making a DIY Hood.
Material Needed: Acrylic, Chloroform, Syringe, Sandpaper
Procedure:
1. Rub the surface of acrylic with sandpaper to make it smooth.
2. Arrange the acrylic sheets to form the hood with any support.

3. Now fill chloroform in syringe.

4. Apply chloroform in between the gaps of acrylic surface.

5. Dont move it upto 3-4 hours to fix the surfaces. The hood is ready.

Happy Fishkeeping.
Tomorrow I will add the procedure to make legs of hood.

Nice DIY Rajiv. I would like to know the dimension of hood, especially the height.
How would you make this sit on aquarium? Will it be a hanging type or have you provided any stand for it?
