No I don't want Tibicos
I'm glad enough for kombucha

Just want to learn more about it

Thanks to the enterprising Harsh Makker, and my old friend, the very thoughtful and generous Deepak Ganguly, a very healthy culture of Vinegar Eels was obtained this Sunday. After two cultures that had crashed before they reached me in the past; this one has been placed in Kombucha tea the very same day. Progress will be assiduously monitored and reported.

Romi can we have some pics here, actually I have never seen the things that you are talking about and having read this thread I am tempted at least to have a look at them.

I understand your curiosity, buddy. But I cant find my camera (forgetfulness is a disease with me) and my cellphone is unable to take a pic that will show this very fine fry-food in the medium. For your sake, I will bring a culture the next time we meet and show it to you. Even the internet does not have photographs that are clear enough but, if u open this link, you will see there is one picture on the right that shows them to be fine white threads swimming in the water... take a look.
