No.
Barclaya longifolia can be produce flower in a shallow tank. If its bud is able to reach upto water surface, it can produce flower otherwise NO.

Buds of Barclaya longifolia are decomposing even before reaching top. Any guess.....

The buds of Barclaya longifolia never goes more than 8-9 inch in tank. If you want flower of Barclaya longifolia, reduce the level of water.
