Re: This I Came Across Today
Was trying to understand the details why they are using the dimension , I guess easy to make depth, and they can Use Full Tank Frame by Minimum Elevation.
Two of their tanks competing for IAPLC and Other contest, dimensions are as follows
1,5x0,5x0,9m (LxHxD) and 1.20m x1.25m x 0.6m (LxDxH)...
So Note: Vietnam tank(may be) : Depth:Height=2:1
and Indian Tank(Commonly) : Depth:Height=1:1

Tank height 0.5m=50cm, perfect for a planted tank and not shallow tank.SCORPIO wrote:Why is to swallow tank?

Re: This I Came Across Today
I was always fascinated by Diana Walstad's aquarium ecology philosophy but never came across a tank which embodied it in totality until I came across this blog.
I never thought something like this would be possible. Aquascaping is missing in these tanks but they deliver what they are supposed to. Tunc Ali and his low maintenance, semi self sustaining eco system tanks based on Diana Walstad's ideas.

I think busy aquarists should try simple things on the side. That way if they run short of time, they can still cope without shutting down completely.
A small tank or bowl with carefully chosen critters that are not crowded, and easy plants, are something so many of us can enjoy, all long-term.

Bonsais are hard work, esepcialy in Delhi's summers. What if your bonsai was underwater? That way skipping a watering in peak summer wouldn't shock your tree
