Mother and fry of Melanotaenia splendida australis

Melanotaenia splendida australis have layed some eggs in the aquarium but unfortunately I saved only one fry. Now it is 2 months old.

in case u want to breed them try using spawning mops.

thats a lovely looking fish and pretty looking mom.

I am sure there would be many takers for the fries :)

Only one egg left and hatched. All of eggs eaten by another fishes.

Very pretty rainbows R. never could find good ones here to keep.
Just cos it happened to you is no means for you to claim that it will happen to me. Exceptions aren't the rule.
