Description: The color is milky white with a brown and clear white line on back. The tail and mouth is still brownish shade.

It is a beautiful shrimp, despite the low resolutions photo.

There are a lot of domestic animals whose species status was disputed for generations. This was decoded only after DNA analysis became commonly available to reserachers. Dogs are today accepted as being of wolf descent, and Cattle are also the subject of much research. This is because hybridization is common in most species cultivated by man, plants and animals both are examples of this. Unbelievable but true.

So in case Rajiv does not know the parent species, we can accept it as his original hybrid and name it (no species name for hybrids), Caridina X Rajivsharmaensis (note capital R and X which stands for hybrid and cultivar).

Due to cross breeding between RCS and Indian Rainbow shrimps, now I have some milky white shrimps. Now I trying to keep these white shrimp in another tank. I think after some more generations, they will be pure white.

Today, I was busy whole the day in traveling. I visited my village with my wife and children. Every Holi and Diwali, I visits my village. My brothers are not interested to visit there so it is my duty.

In this tank, lots of RCS, Indian Rainbow shrimps, 3 Indian green shrimps. With time Green Shrimps disappeared from the tank. One parent is Indian Rainbow shrimp due to the line over the back and Tail. Another parent may be Green shrimp or RCS. Now I am trying to catch these 3-4 shrimps to keep them in separate tank with special care and Dinnerle food. Hope this will be a new hybrid.

Romi, I have taken this photo by my poor camera. I will invite a good photographer to take the photograph within a few days.

I've heard that many hybrids can be sterile. So lets hope that yours aren't.
