updating this thread is a good idea.

There are many plants that are able to survive better in the peak temperatures of Delhi. I hope these plants will receive more attention by those hobbyists who keep losing plants due to the summer blaze.

How to ensure an edited post, that can be seen only after turning several pages of a thread back, is even seen by others? since it is technically not a new post, will it show in the New Post List?

It does not. Edited posts don't show as new.

A person should edit the list and make a quick post stating he has updated the list on so and so page. Simple.
