Compost doesn't make the water cloudy if it is nicely decomposed
I have heard of many aquarists who use compost in their dirted tanks
But Most nurseries sell compost quite before the decomposition finishes

decompostion = minralisation is it so...compost doesnot make water cloudy but soil added that may make water cloudy..

Don't know much about this, but in a well rotten compost, the decomposition process is already over
So no more decomposition

Water will be cloudy for a first few days. After that water will be clear.

Never face the problem of cloudy water more than 5-6 hours.
