Salt does not provide food for corals and anemones, it provides necessary trace minerals and elements like Calcium, Strontium, Iodine, Magnesium, etc... Corals feed on phytoplankton, zooplankton, bacterioplankton depending upon the type of corals...
Anemones can be fed once a week or once in 15 days.
Carpet anemones are said to have symbiotic algae in their tissues and hence require good lighting to stay healthy.
