Not me. What they did is just wrong. There is a reason creatures that arent meant to be luminous and some are. We shouldnt be playing God.
Just cos it happened to you is no means for you to claim that it will happen to me. Exceptions aren't the rule.

there is nothin wrong in it. same was the case with glofish zebra danios which though faced lots of critique but still accepted a majority of hobbyists world wide.

Am sorry guys. I for one do not support such fish. Each fish has evolved for a specific reason in a specific region. Surviving the food circle is what pushes evolution and we are a part of the grander theater called life. We arent meant to be messing with things like this.

Sushanth, If nature intended for Danios to be red or yellow or green it would have happened. If nature wanted Parrot Fish, it would have happened. If nature wanted glow-in-the-dark angel cichlid, it would have existed. Why is that none of the above exist in the wild? Why is that you see OB Strains of peacocks in Malawi's? It is because it was meant to happen. It is one thing to selective line breed or cross breed same family species. it is a whole different matter to do what they have done. be it with the danios or scalare.

When we take it upon our selves to help something evolve, we are tampering with forces that we do not comprehend.

Whoever is under the assumption that they are fed the glow in the dark matter, you are wrong. The video it self clearly shows that they are injecting the gene into the reproductive organs to stimulate the propagation of a hybrid strain using natural birthing methods due to the low success rates other means of breeding methods.

Ask your self this: would you like for these kind of procedures done on your selves. If you say yes, you have a serious problem and need to have your self checked into the nearest happy house with padded cells.
Just cos it happened to you is no means for you to claim that it will happen to me. Exceptions aren't the rule.

Wow! They are just amazing!
I think we're not playing the role of God,
But utilizing the brain God has given us
This planet is a gift to us
We want to add beauty to it or let it be, is our choice
As long as we are not tormenting his creations, there must not be anything wrong about it
and as long as we don't commit to develop invasive species that threaten the existence of others.
Natural beauty is of course breathtaking.
But what if we could join our efforts to make it even more amazing?!!!
Give it a thought......
Good Day :)
