Unread post by abhishekls »

Hi All,

I got my hands on 39w T5HOs, but ballast for the same is hard to find.
Can I use 36W Ballast for 39W T5HO ?? will it affect anything ?

Your inputs will be a great help.

Go for the next higher wattage ballast available preferably 40 watt.

But will that have any negative effect on bulb life and the amount of light the tubes output ?

Just for reference. When you buy 36W choke, it LL already be written 36/40w, so that should be a sign it can do for both.

haven't seen one that's specifically made for 36W
