i second ashish's point. birds cant even fly for a second in small cages, at least fishes & swim fully throughout the tank.

brother all birds i have are hand tamed they are not caged i bet they are more happy then ur fishes because u can feel the emotions of birds not of fishes,, i have pigeons they fly in open sky and roam in our garden, parakeets babies are tamed and some finches and other breeding pairs are in flight cages not in tight cages....so dont worry about them i care for them more then myself..

yes fancy pigeons and high fliers pigeons, budgies, zebra finches i am breeding...having tamed hand raised alexdrian/raa(pahadi tota) chick, spice finch,kept lutino cockateils in the past but i think that pair was infertile so give away...looking for native parakeets can u plz arrange for me?give me ur contact number if u have sources..

hello everyone,

I am looking for the scalare anglefish (or something similar to wild caught ones, silver/steel with black horizontal stripes) and sterbai corydoras to stock my black water biotope aquarium. Please let me know where can i get those.

any other suggestions to stock my black water biotope are also welcomed, currently housing 6 wild caught rams, tank size 4X2X2, internal filters, lots of driftwoods.

@jack : from where did u get wild caught rams??? I want some too..
and if u can tell some differences of a wild caught one from the ones bred indoors???

@remirezykrazy i got these rams from shankar 2 months back. I want few more from the same lot but he doesn't have it now

from what i have seen so far, these wild caught ones are in very good shape and the true colors are seen. I have never seen such perfect ram in LFS. plus they are very very shy it has been more than 2 months but still when i go near also they ran back of the wood

they use too be in my planted tank for a month but then thought to give them a biotope, soo started a new tank.

@JAck: Awesome..!!I am sure they ll do better in a natural biotope resembling the same characteristics of their native habitats. And i hope u have pairs.. do breed them and ll come for the frys..
