Re: My nano marine tank
was using the same on Ashokji's recomendation in my marine nano as well and the result was quite satisfactory....Ashok wrote:was using chaetomorpha algae for nitrate and caulerpa algae for phosphate removal and both the algae keep my water parameters always in check.
algae filteration method is very ease and cheap also.

Re: My nano marine tank
@jack its neccessory because of you can remove nitrate, phosphate by using some product available in market and also addjack wrote:what is your experience with the waterchange ?? is it necessary ??

aditives to complete the calcium, alkalinity, iodine and trace but cant't remove the toxins released by corals and fishes in the water.
Toxins are harmfull for both fish and corals.
You can increased the time of water change ie.once in a month instead of twice in a month but once you got experience that how to control
toxins in the water column for example by avoiding to put in your tank and not to disturb inverts again and again also fix them properly
avoiding excess bioloads etc.
