tank mates for dwarf gourami

Anyone having experience of keeping dwarf gourami. What can be the probable tank mates for it.

I have kept dwarf gouramis. You can keep any small size peaceful fish with them.

i have kept dwarf gouramis with pearl gouramis, blue gouramis, and thicklipped gouramis, very easily, even though as you know these are twice their size. They are happy with any peaceful species that are not too large for them. ... Rogues, if they develop, should be moved to another tank, and it can happen with even peaceful species. all small tetras are good too.... For me ,dwarf gouramis did very well in groups, staying in packs and feeding better that way.

I don't want to keep other gouramis, any other small fish if you can suggest. I have a pair but they don't swim together, so should i bring another pair, they go in hiding in plants when i go near them.

nothing beats a group a dwarf gouramis in a planted tank, in fact the first planted tank i saw was with them and it was a fascinating experience.

what about rosy barbs?

@ bobvin i don't want to keep a group of rosy or tiger barbs, have got bored of them. Have kept them for a long time.

As they are slow moving spieces i would suggest a group of tetra....

How about angels ? Not really sure they ll get along well but i think as both are slow moving spieces they ll be happy... Any comment on this ?

i doubt if all angels can be kept with gouramis. What other options do i have?
