green hair algae on H.cuba
kindly help me to get ride of green hair algae on HC ,i am using presurized CO2 and external filter.one more thing i want to ask if i do water change on alternate days,then after water change should i add fertilizer both micro & macro in the tank.I have shrimp in my affected tank so i cannot release rosy barb in tank.i am using glut also around 1 ml in alternate days,my tank dimensions are 2 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 feet.

*Change water frequently.
*Increase flow of water
*Remove algae using a toothbrush.
I am also facing same problem but water changing schedule helping me to fight with algae.

it is not possible to remove the algae with a toothbrush as the H cuba also remove along with algae,any alternate.

use hydrogen paraoxide to remove algae.

I second this. In addition to this, maybe you can try adding few ghost shrimps (if it's compatible) or add more phosphates. Adding more plants might help too.SCORPIO wrote:*Change water frequently.
