CO2 leaking from regulator...

Unread post by SCORPIO »

After fitting of Regulator in ISTA Cylinder, gas is leaking from regulator. What should I do to stop leakage?

It is coming out from a small hole over the regulator. If I seals the hole, gas leaks from the below of the regulator.

which regulator do you have...you could dismantle the entire regulator and assemble it using epoxy.
get a new sealing for the connection to the cylinder. you can get them in chawri bazaar

Rajiv ji i am using double gauge co2 setup...if you are useing same then i can help you..
First open the regulator nobe full and then open the cylinder nobe full then operate the needlevalve screw..i think then you get no leakage in the regulator.and the hole in the below portion of regulator is safty valve..if you close the regulator nobe fully and neddelvalve also close then gas will come out from safty valve...same thing happen with me.but no idea about the hole
which is up porsion of the regulator.

Thanks...

Sorry rajivji no idea... Are you sure that upper portion of regulator is leak?? Because if gas flow is obstruct towards needlevalve then gas may come out from safty valve and any other hole...
You can check the needlevalve and regulater nobe first...

Mine also leaked when i use to assemble myself

Better option is to go to a professional guys who fills the cylinder and they ll set it properly and check with the soap solution.....
