hey all i was frustrated with tank leaks and all the problems that i faced but to add to it i am more frustrated with out getting my wet... soo here i am back setting up lake Tanganyika biotope aquarium this is what i have decided soo far
The fishes i have ordered are
Multifaciatus 5 nos
Gold head compreceps 7 nos
Cyorichrmis utinta 8 nos (in wish list but will get it may be next month)
I also wish to add leleupis or brichardi or julidichromis either of one... will this be a good call with the shellies ??
Tank details
Tank size: 48X27X24
Light : have cree led and kessils amazon sun (dont know which i ll use depending on the hood the lfs makes)
Plants : please suggest (reading a lot about the same i figured out valsnerias are the only plants in typical biotope... but still people use Anubias and ferns)
Substrate : agronite sand from my marine tank
Stock : listed above
Filter : over filtered tank eheim 2217, eheim pro 3 , chinese external filter all 3 ll run on this tank
Water change : 25% weekly
Soo any suggestions ?? help me in selecting plants and also want help in selecting rocks.... Any details i missed out let me know

If you don't mind my suggestion, try using T8 or T12, it gives calm spread of light.8000k and one 3500k will best fit.

Re: My Tanganyika Biotope Aquarium ....
hiiii back with update
the stones getting washed...
the tanks back to original place
the tanks at final position....
the 10 min scape....
guys please suggest changes for the scape......
my plans are to grow water sprite (biotope plant) in the tank but without substrate i am not sure this will survive....
today plans are to give another 2-3 freshwater bath to sand and stones as the sand is from marine and late night if time permits will start with the filtration....
thanks waiting for the critiques to comments
