Glutaraldehyde v/s Plants pearling

Hi! all,

I have seen plants pearling in my freind's tanks several times and i have never seen plants pearl after adding glutaraldehyde in my planted tank,
but the plants are growing very well accept heteranthera zosterifolia.
what is the reason i can't understand may be the calculated dose is less for pearling or any other reason please clear the problem..

In Glut tanks, plants hards shows pearling. Although growing speed of plants is always good.

I never care for pearling, but today morning light from window shows lovely slow pearling in the present tank without any external co2...that looks awesome.

I guess plants will respond its best show automatically with regular proper maintenance.

I am not sure if you all already know, its by two things.

1. Happens when you have changed water yesterday or today and observing your tank closely
2. Add K2SO4, and your tank ll fizz in hour or two.

Glut and pearl, I havent seen much of relation yet.

Am unlucky in this regard :x
Ok,will arrange pressorised Co2 after Diwali...

you are going to buy CO2 cylinder just to see pearling? oopsbig
Try putting half teaspoon of K2So4 and see see magic first. Then think else.

Can we add ferts in lights on? if no problem will try saikumar's experience (K2So4) tomorrow morning when the lights on in my tank.
normly i add all ferts in lights off period.

Thanks saikumar for information. I also buying Co2 cylinder for some plant's needs as well.

Thats a good call then :) yes, K is part of macros so better dose when lights ON*. And you can see bubbles only when lights ON. So + , +

Ohh i see,was dosing K2So4,KH2Po4,Iron and seachem flourish after the lights off.
should i have to dose only seachem flourish and iron when lights off?
