Ya tank was just kept like that, Moss, BG stem plants twice trimmed, FG plants yet to establish. Just started pushing the tank to get the growth.

Will update after couple of weeks.

In my opinion there has to be more green to make the scape complete.

Last two months really fought with all odds to make it more green, but failed.

Keep the CO2 high and water cool, hope it will be ready before deadline. :thumup

Too much light, low CO2(probably), low plant mass to utilize the resources is the reason for algae.

For a tank like this you should have some floating plants/ temperory fast growers that cover up vacant spaces and compete with algae. They'll fight your battle ;) and can be removed a couple of days prior to competition shot.

Much much better then the last update. The depth is very clearly visible.
