Currently planning for a fowlr tank, ie. fish only with live rock
but within a year I will change it later to a reef tank..

if the middle walls are same sized then this fault is noticed

But if the second glass can be reduced in size from the first glass then this fault can be removed..

I see no faults in the sump design ....

The only consern here i see is DSB, DSB can sometimes be factory for nitrates so i would suggest to use few criters in the refuge that will aerate the sand.... Like nerite snails, turbo snails and cerith snails.... What light u planning in fudge ?
