Fish Collection and Habitat Study Trip. Final Program page 4
Every year, we plans a Fish Collection and Habitat Study Trip in the month of April-May. This year we are also planning to go away from Delhi/NCR in the range of 400 KMs. . This year the program will from Thursday night to Sunday night. Still we are on initial stage, so please suggest good collection points of nearby places. At present, we have following places in mind:
1. Uttranchal
2. Outer area of Chandigarh
3. Shimla
4. Agra
Looking for more suggestions regarding the collection trip.
Regards
Rajiv Sharma

It will be a long journey, But I think North Bengal specially around Jaldapara Sanctuary (Andrewda's gold mine) will give you more satisfaction.

In May month, no problem but during the rainy season the sanctuary remains closed to tourists.SCORPIO wrote:Is it possible to visit there in the mid of May???Kaushik wrote:It will be a long journey, But I think North Bengal specially around Jaldapara Sanctuary (Andrewda's gold mine) will give you more satisfaction.

There is a place Chail near Shimla. I have heard that it is a good place for habitat and Shimla is also on the way.
