scaping suggestions for Tanganyika fish tank?

Unread post by saikumar »

Hi janta,
Planning to make a 5/2/2 tank for a big bunch of multies, xenos and threadfins.

So want some suggestions to go about layout, rocks that can be used, which have pleanty of holes.
Any sample scapes also will be encouraging.

Substrate fine sand, so please advice background that ll synch well too.
End of it I want to see natural looking as any specialist aqua consultant will do.

If you can advice fitting lighting, will be great too!
Lastly if you have pictures of good looking total stand and tank n furniture.

I hope you ll help me :)

nice tank size.... come down i will give you my multis all breeding like rabbits :)

rocks if you want with holes go for sand stones aka cichlids rocks

substrate : agronite

background : my personally choose ll be back

filter : ?? what ll you use ? i like over filtered tanks :D

Light : dim light may be cheap LED flood light and a tube of yellow with 20W pink and 20W marine blue will look nice and shade of it will enhance the fishes colour to pop out...
Finally i am Broke but Happy :D

Filter, I might be doing a side filter, still thinking. I mainly want any thing that I can clean quickly-without bending my back. Topfilter is on option too, but dont like the equipment in view.

Cichlid rocks? can you PM me source and price? and is that same as texas holy rock?

background I was thinking of sky blue light, as it will be lake like. I would have loved black on a SA type tank. Still I ll mix and match. Currently having cream yellow, and not satisfied.

I might not have huge provision for flood lights sorryg , I want to use 12000K Aquazonic, currently using an satisfied. pink is something new, never tried.
