Classically Mild

Unread post by sunnysinha »

Hi All,
I'm starting with my new tank (after 3 years of gap). Constant Change of work location kept me out of the hobby for very long. I'm in Pune these days.

Done with some major planning as in tank size, substrate, Filter, Lights.

Earlier, I thought to go with 24X12X12 inches. But with discussion with some friends, finally done ordered 24X18X18.
Substrate, jugaad - Lowest portion cocopeat (1kg), above it Laterite mixed with red soil (1 Kg laterite & 3 kg d soil). Over it 25 Kgs Construction sand or river sand.
Filter - HOB.
Lights - PLL X 3.
CO2- Glutodehydride in starting, by the time I'm not adding any live stock in it.
Plants planning-
Foreground - Marsilea.
Left side - Green bulb plant mixed with red mint.
Right side - Green & Red cabomba.
backdrop - Vallisneria.
3-4 anubias on bog wood or rock. Yet to finalize rock or bog wood. Anyone in Pune giving out bog wood or rock, may please share.

Any suggestions are most welcome, before I order plants. Thanks fellas.

Lighting is too much for a two footer. Vals are not suitable for a 12 inch height tank.

Oh can't read carefully you are going with 24x18x18 instead of 24x12x12 so 36Wx3 pll is ok
