What kind of light is preferable

Hi All,
My tank size is too odd 42inch (L) x 18inch (W) x 24inch (H)...with some "tana". so the water level from bottom to top is 21inch apx (bcz of the "tana").
Now I just want to know if i go for planted setup (mid tech) then which kind of light is preferable for my tank ?
1. LED FLOOD LIGHT
2. T5HO
3. PLL
4. M.H
( personally i like LED Flood Light and also like H.M,Glosso,hair grass,moss etc kind of plant )
Please give me some suggestion about that....so that i can make my own.

For tanks of this hight hitherto with LEDs or MH. What do you mean by "tana"??

LED will be right choice for two foot height tank. MH will not suitable for your location.

so Dada LED FLOOD LIGHT or custom made LED light?...and if i go for LED flood one,then how many pic of flood light i needed and who many "W" also i needed.

Dada "tana"...a kind of support which in top of the tank.

It will be best to choose DIY LED hood for this tank. Chinese LED flood lights do not produce too much light to grow plants.

Dada then i need some help from u...like from where i buy those LED and what kind of power supply ( SMPS or any thing ) i can use,how much cost of total setup,how much light ( W ) i needed ..everything i want to know.

Sir LED may be costly affair for me...not even that cunt understand how much LED needed and how to fix....(i dont have any knowledge about electronics ) so its quiet headache for me...
so if i go for Metal Halide then how may light's and how much watt i needed for my tank (any watt calculation for that)...please suggest me...
