Trek to Triund, Indraharpass and Lahesh cave Mid Aug

I am not a pro trekking guys like many of you guys. Planning for next month.

Any of you have been there during this time of the year?

Triund- Easy to Moderately tough Trek
Indraharpass- Moderately tough Trek
Lahesh cave- Moderately tough Trek

Initial info gathered
9-16km uphill from Macloedgunj
No snow in Aug, also rain less expected
Tent stay at Triund.
Tent can be rented from Macloedgunj

More info will be helpful.

Anyone wish to join, it will be awesome group adventure.

Date 14th evening starting, 15, 16 Trekking and back to Mackloedgunj, 16th(Depending on Energy left) or 17th Night start from Macloedgunj to Delhi.

Looking for Cheapest way of transportation.

August 17th, is Janamasthami, a festivel of Hindus in Northern India, so also consider this before final plan.

You can caught bus from ISBT, Kashmiri Gate. This is the most econonical mode of transport.

Still I am not sure about joining you but will try to join. You can also get tent from Azad Market, Delhi.

Group should not be less than 6-8 persons to maitain self security in jungle.

Search on net for availibility of trekking tents in Delhi.

Most of these places are also home of wild animals so there should be around 6-8 persons. In night, a group of 2 persons should offer their duties as watchman for 2-3 hours. After that another group.

I think we need good equipment also.

I am also thinking if any chance of getting snow near the pass, let see if I get any infor on that.

But Pro are saying rain will be there so rain gear is also require.

You also try to join the trip, will be great journey again like collection trip, and you are a pro and I am beginner. Experts are saying not to travel till Indrahar Pass, time may not be enough. So We may cut off Pass rather Triund and Cave.

BUt Also Have to remember Augst is AAC entry last date.

Depends on the health position of my daughter.

15th August is last date for AAC-2014. Nothing have to do after 14 August. NO chance of any technical problem. So AAC is not a problem.

Checked the buses for Mcleodganj from ISBT, Kashmiri Gate. The departure of bus is 6:00PM and fare is Rs. 850 in TATA AC Bus. Seats can be reserve online

Per head to pay Rs. 1700.00 as bus fare but if there are 5 members in group and able to drive the car, the should fuel consumption will be around only Rs. 5000.00
