New unnamed scape>Update Page 5>December 12, 2014

Unread post by SCORPIO »

I am working on this scape from August 22, 2014. Scape is still under progress. Yesterday my wife advised me change the scape as IAPLC guidelines but I refused her and told that my hobby is not based on any company guidelines. I will do as doing from years. And this scape is also a reply to ADA Guidelines from my side.

Tank Size: 34 X 16 X 16 inch

Background: White vinyl sticker

Substrate: ADA Amazonia. (Decided to never buy ADA products in future. I will source some other ready made substrates in India in coming days)

Light: PLL 36 watt X 2

Rocks: Collected from Dehradoon

Here is the unfinished hardscape

Plants will be mainly Hemianthus callitrichoides, Flame moss, Micranthemum umbrosum monte carlo and Riccardia sp. Still not get plants, if anybody able to give/sell, please let me know.

Comments and Suggestions are most welcome.

Just lovely Hardscape.
The depth is visible, and if properly matured it can turn to be a stunner.
The two side elevated part is a treat, and what did you put beneath it.

Any dead fish can flow down the river but it takes a live one to swim back up stream.

dada, since you are going to use mostly carpet plants....why not create the mound in the centre. Bit like Kilimanjaoro...single mountain. The whitish bare rocks rising in the centre with HC lans surrounding it may be worth the try

There will be water source in the middle.

I will create a mound in the right back side. The middle part will be convert in a river canyon using white sand. I will do it on coming sunday.

I am also planning to rescape one more 3 footer after this scape. I will try to form "Kilmanjaro" in my next scape.
