Macrobrachium rosenbergii::Freshwater prawn.
Macrobrachium rosenbergii are native Indian freshwater prawns. They can grow upto 18-20cm with 20+cm claws. They are very aggressive and can eat fishes. These predators like to eat sinking foods. I have kept these earlier in a 120 X 45 X 45 cm tank.

Hi Rajiv Ji,
Nice specimen, is it the same Indian Tiger prawn?
From where you have sourced them? - Do you know anything about their native source or origin?
And this is a shrimp species not prawn.

The issue with the death which I can guess will be acclimatization or difference in water parameters..
