That's a lot of light for a 2 footer.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I guess your question is at what height should you place the light ?? Since there is no other place other than the top to position the lights anyways.

If the above is correct, then the height will depend upon :

- Intended plant mix
- Kind of fish you want to keep
- Colour of sand
- Type of tank - study, display, kid's room
- Construction of the hood - open or closed
- Your maintainence regime - how often do you intend to clean the tank ?

Let us know your thoughts on the above...and you are sure to get some help.

Not height. I want to know are those light placement correct?
Should i move the pll at the back or center is ok.
Or should i buy 3x24w t5ho or 2x and 1 36w pll.

People say that 8000k pll are good for stem plants. As i m not getting 8000k t5ho so i was planning to get 1 8000k pll. So you sure that i should go for 3x24w t5ho?

Buy 6500 K 3X24 watt tubes. They will be enough to grow any type of plant. Most of the aquarists thoughts that light is only the key factor to grow plants. You need to increase dosing with high light.
