Hi Guys is it possible to keep full grown Vieja Argentea in a tank of size 48*18*18 ??
Seriously fish says a pair can b kept in 48*18*15 tank ,,other forum says bare minimum tank size is 75 G ,,,mine is a 8 G short 67 G.
Please note Ill keep only that vieja in tank .... its for long term basis,,,, so asking experts before buying

8 gallon is not a big issue. you can keep it easily.

Thanks for the assurance ,, How big was ur Vieja and how long have u kept it ? I am looking for some advises from a person who has actually kept this species or any other Viejas ,,,,,,,

Initial hard scape ,,,was trying to create a underwater root structure ..... waiting for expert comments from scapers ,,, plzz give ur suggestions ,

i would strongly advise keeping an argentea by itself.it will be shy and dull.if you can lay your hand on some juviniles and grow them out it would be a better option.

A bit of confused after reading ur comment ,,,, ill b getting few juvies n raise them ,,if pair forms then good else might have to separate few fishes if they start fighting
