Visible Parasites, Womrs in Aquarium Substrate

1. I closely examined the substrate from the front of the glass and found white thread like worms, few white ecliptic shaped parasites are there in the lower layers. Also, I guess, ADA aquasoil has been decomposed and broken in powder in that layer.

2. I found a water insect (1cm in size) similar to an ant (picture attached) peacefully sit on the substrate, I manually removed this. I wonder, how it came to my aquarium.

I need suggestions to remove these unwanted guests.

The white thread like worms are planaria. Read up on planaria on Google.

Do not kill them otherwise they will multiply very fast.

They might be detris worms, which unlike planaria are harmless and mostly stay on the substrate.
