like labradors, they are working dogs, and sometimes have no such instinct at all.

pointers are excellent guard dogs but she didn't did her job because when we got her she was grown up and couldn't be trained and was in search for love and care because she was caged till that age and was not even given proper food.

if i am not wrong labradors are not guard dogs.

Nice. I suppose, we also need some dogs to guard fishes.
