electronic time switch

hi guys

there is still one thing i need: electronic timer / time switch.
the electric supply shops where i asked do not have any and prices in lfs are ridiculous.

where can i get some?
someone told me in the chawri bazaar...have not tried yet.

any more suggestions?

You can get the timer from Lajpat Rai market/Bhagirat Place in Delhi. It is atleast 2 km from Chawri Bazar. Here you can got anything related to electricity. This is the biggest market in India.

You can get the timer from Bhagirat Place in Delhi as rajiv ji suggested try to find the timer named frontier digital works good a pic to help you find one to show the shopkeeper what you are looking for

any specific reason for this. i guess that the 5 pin one will have two outputs N1 and N0 and (i.e one of the circut will be off when the other one is working and vise-versa) and this can be used in driving light and solonoid valve on one circuit and air pump on the other

In case of FRONTIER timer you can differentiate the original from the duplicate by looking at the led, the LED is Flat in case or original against the rounded one in duplicate.

Sushant you are right the five pin one have two output which makes it dificult to wire and program for a lyman and four pin one is easy just plug and play.

If memory serves right, the frontier timer lacks grounding/earthing. This is something you would need to keep in mind if you do go in for a frontier timer.

i hope we can openly discuss the correct price, with date of purchase. This makes a big difference, because, as the original asker said, the price is why we can't try the LFS timer?
