one of my favorite bettas

This betta's been with me for more than 2 years now, and when i got him, he was already 1.25" and when he died was almost 2" or more

i used to keep this one in a 15gallon tank, with some drift wood, some anubias, some java moss and a niice bed of aquaclay for substrate

the filtration in the tank was at 100 ltrs/hr

main diet was hikari betta bio gold

yeah shooting a black fish does require a little bit different from shooting any other color fish

black is such an unusual color. Was it a plakat betta?
I once got a plakat betta (i suspected it only later), a male swimming around in a dealer's tank. I kept it with females, though i was surprised it was so aggressive. It killed most of the females...
