Will put the pics as soon as I put the gravel in. Most probably tonight. Will look out for the drift wood and rocks as suggested.

I would request you to post a PIC before putting inside your tank...because it may not be good for planted tank, I have heard very less about any brown color inert top substrate...

I was planning to place a big driftwood at the centre with some rocks surrounding it. Will be visiting laxmi nagar today to see if something is available. Please let me know if you have some options/suggestions. Alternately will place them at a latter time when these are available.
Start your tank after collecting all of the stuff. After that make a rough layout and post here. On the inputs of aquarists here, make change accordingly.
Here is the rough layout (top view) that I am planning to do. Suggestions for improvement please. Planning to have dense & tall plants on the slopes on both sides. At the centre around the drift wood and rock it will be more of low height plants.

no matter whats the height of slope in thise side the high stem plants will cover the slope so instead try some mid ground plants for the area instead of high stem plants.

I am not an expert of usage pf plants but for me this could be the plantation!!! For the usage of rocks you may take help from Iwagumi Tanks, with your slope tank may look good.

Thanks. This tank is placed in the middle of the room and can be seen from both the 4' sides. Hence I am not creating any background on the long (4') side. The shorter (1.5') sides are not visible directly, hence the tall stem plants. Towards the wall is the sump.
