A collection of mistakes is called experience and experience is the key to success.

Re: Help in culturing Grindal worms
Today is Day 6 of my white worm culture
Before today, I could hardly see a few worms in my culture through the sides but none used to come to the top
I thought that at this pace, it would take 15 days to see some worms
But just after adding flour on top(as advised by you guys), Its looking like an explosion of worms all over the container
many entangled clumps of worms are visible through the sides and many worms are grazing on the top
Seems like my culture would be almost established by tomorrow morning
Thanks Everyone for being so supportive

Re: Help in culturing Grindal worms
arjun, u have seen my pics on the indianaquariumhobbyist.com thread on these worms from 3 years ago.
now, if u want to help others like that thread did, please take the trouble to take a few pictures and post them here. ...a picture is worth a thousand words, and the biggest problem in ncr in keeping rare fish is, arranging/growing/finding food for them.

Hi Romi,
I sent a camera for repair just now
I will surely post the pics as soon as it returns
Would you suggest starting a soilless culture?
Because I won't know when the culture turns sour in the vermicompost
What are the risks connected to both types of substrates?

Re: Help in culturing Grindal worms
hey I have my camera but its really hard to see the worms in the pics
All they appear is, like a web wriggling which mixes with the colour of the substrate
